Undergraduate or masters level students in a construction related field who intern with Stewart Perry will be presented with increasingly diverse responsibilities and opportunities to gain relevant experience. Students will be involved in project management, estimating, marketing, and accounting in various ways. The responsibilities of an office project management summer intern include, but are not limited to:
- Working with Estimators to generate bid lists, soliciting subcontractor involvement on pricing, and compiling bids on bid day, in addition to doing takeoffs using takeoff software.
- Working with Project Managers to assemble project directories, submittal review and processing, as well as closeout procedures.
- Working with our PMs and field superintendents, gaining onsite management and meeting experience in Owner / Architect / Contractor Meetings and Subcontractor Meetings, visiting current jobsites to learn about building systems.
- Work with the Office/Accounting staff to handle document control, following up with subs/vendors, etc.

Pay: $20.50 per hour
Housing: Housing is available with a fully furnished and well-equipped apartment on our corporate campus.

Work Environment: Stewart Perry intern program participants are expected to work a normal 40-hour week. Most of the time will be spent in the office at our corporate campus. There will be an opportunity to travel to job sites as well.
