Stewart/Perry is seeking an experienced Commercial Superintendent to lead a ground-up, new construction project for a national truck service company in Nampa, Idaho. The ideal candidate will bring proven expertise in light industrial, distribution, and/or pre-engineered metal buildings and associated sitework.
This is a perfect opportunity for a recently retired or semi-retired commercial superintendent. The job is scheduled to start November 2025, and the duration is approximately one (1) year. Please note: there is a chance the job start will be postponed until April 2026.
The project size is between $4-6 million. Employment is on a contractual basis for the duration of the project. Candidate will be eligible for a completion bonus.
All resumes must include a list of the last five (5) years of construction projects where you were the project superintendent.
Our superintendents work closely with project managers to deliver quality builds on time and on budget. You’ll lead field operations, coordinate subcontractors, maintain safety standards, and represent the company to clients and inspectors alike. What You’ll Do:
- Champion safety as the highest priority on site.
- Lead, coordinate, and supervise subcontractors and onsite personnel.
- Partner with project managers and other Stewart/Perry team members to achieve common goals.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
- Ensure work meets or exceeds original plans and specifications.
- Communicate effectively with inspectors, subcontractors, officials, and clients.
- Uphold high standards of workmanship and professionalism.
What You Bring:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience leading commercial construction projects as a superintendent.
- Experience with light industrial and/or pre-engineered metal building projects preferred.
- Ability to read and accurately execute architectural and engineering drawings.
- Solid understanding of OSHA and safety guidelines.
- Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
- Detailed and deadline-oriented.
- Proven customer service skills and ability to maintain positive client relationships.
Salary Range: $105,000 to $150,000
This position will require a background check and drug test.
