At its roots, most of construction is a task-oriented business. To be successful, one has to always be moving from strategic to tactical thinking and back again. While tactical processes are probably more the core of our business, this also requires balancing the minute details with the “10,000 foot view.”

One of the main things we work with our leadership on is prioritizing planning over doing. That will also mean making good use of delegation and trusting other members of the team to handle follow through. We know this requires having the right team(s) in place, never losing sight of the importance of training. Through it all, we try for continuous improvement, being lifelong learners.
