We’re working on four decades of being in business. The company has had ups and downs through changing cycles. We’ve been through periods of great growth, low times, the financial crisis and now the virus and other impacts. There have been many shifting landscapes over time, and still, the current climate is another new chapter.

I’ve heard it said that we’ve been jolted into accepting a rate of societal, technological and economic change that otherwise would have taken decades. Three possible responses are best summarized by this quote from John Maxwell:

“The pessimist complains about the wind. The optimist expects it to change. The leader adjusts the sails.”

The market seems to be reading the tea leaves and bounding around a bit, which to me, supports the idea that there is good wind to drive the sails.
