Lyric Theatre

In 1914, Birmingham got a new iron and steel structure to match the period’s industrial boom. The Lyric Theatre, with its wonderful acoustics, would be home to many performances over the decades. After years of neglect, the theatre was listed on the National Register of Historic Places but was in need of a full restoration.

At this historic landmark, a story of redemption was waiting in the wings. “Light Up the Lyric,” led by some of the most respected names in the Birmingham business and philanthropic community, ensured the lights shone again, bringing this iconic structure back to its former glory. We are proud to have been part of the restoration as construction manager.
